With todays image conscious men taking more interest in their appearance, the demand for male body waxing has grown in recent years. But why hair removal and why wax?

Men get their hair removed for many different reasons:
• It can help reduce body odour.
• A hair free body feels cleaner and more hygenic.
• It can help increase self confidence.
• It helps improve the appearance and definition of muscles.
• There are sports related benefits for athletes and cyclists.
• It can heighten sensitivity of intimate areas. 

These are just some of the reasons, but why wax? Unlike shaving or hair removal creams, waxing removes the hair from the root. It therefore lasts longer, and during regrowth is softer and will not be all itchy and stubbly.

For waxing, I use both strip wax or soft wax and non strip wax or hot wax.

Strip Wax is warmed and applied thinly to the skin using a spatula. A thin paper strip is then applied to the wax and removed very quickly.


Non Strip Wax is also warmed and applied to the skin using a spatula, but it is applied thicker. It is then left a few seconds to cool and harden and then removed. This wax does not stick to the skin but shrink wraps around the hair, making removal from intimate areas much more comfortable.


I also do shaving of the same areas.
