What happens during a waxing treatment?

 

Before your first treatment, we’ll have a consultation and you’ll be asked to complete the relevant form.

The area being waxed is cleansed before treatment. Depending on the area, I use both strip wax and non-strip/hot wax.

Non-strip wax is particularly useful for more sensitive and intimate areas because it grips the hair rather than sticking to the skin.

After waxing, the area is checked for any remaining hairs and appropriate aftercare products are applied.

My aim is always to work professionally and efficiently while keeping discomfort to a minimum.

Is male waxing painful?

 

Waxing does involve some discomfort, particularly the first time, but the sensation is usually very brief.

Many clients find that subsequent treatments become easier as they get used to waxing and establish a regular treatment routine.

I take care to use appropriate waxing techniques and products and to work at a pace that keeps you as comfortable as possible.

How long will the results last?

Everyone is different, but regular waxing can help you establish a more consistent hair-growth cycle. I generally recommend allowing around 4–6 weeks between waxing appointments, depending on the area and your individual hair growth.

 

What if I’m embarrassed?

There’s no need to be. Male waxing is a professional treatment and my priority is to make you feel comfortable and respected throughout your appointment.
